FEMA has extended the deadline to apply for Hurricane Helene assistance in North Carolina to Thursday, Feb. 6, 2025. "North Carolina Tropical Storm Helene survivors now have until Feb. 6, 2025, to apply for assistance with FEMA.

Floridians who sustained loss from Hurricanes Milton or Helene have one week remaining to apply for federal assistance.

The last day that Tennesseans can apply for FEMA aid is Tuesday, Jan. 7, 2025. For Tennesseans who have lost their jobs as a result of the floods, the last day to apply for assistance also is Jan. 7. Individuals should apply online at the Department of Labor and Workforce Development Jobs4TN.

FEMA is reminding people affected by hurricanes Helene and Milton that they have less than two weeks to apply for individual assistance.
