Lando Norris wound up George Russell after the Spanish Grand Prix as he called for the Mercedes man to be punished for his crash with Max Verstappen. Russell and Verstappen touched tyres with fewer than three laps remaining, with the Dutchman ultimately handed a 10-second penalty as he was demoted to 10th.

Oscar Piastri led Lando Norris home to hand McLaren a 1-2 win at Formula 1's Spanish Grand Prix, while Max Verstappen was demoted to 10th after seeing red in a battle with Charles Leclerc and George Russell. Piastri led from pole into Turn 1, while Verstappen jumped Norris by swooping around the outside of the second McLaren.
