Whoopi Goldberg fell over in laughter when fellow comedian Bowen Yang floated the notion that Vice President JD Vance was involved in what one might call Pope Francis’ final benediction.

Bowen Yang, a cast member on "Saturday Night Live" said Thursday that he thought there would be a better person to play JD Vance on SNL, and joked, "the guy's a pope killer."

Vice President JD Vance was one of the last officials to meet with Pope Francis at the Vatican before the pontiff's death.
