Jauan Jennings wants a new contract, but the 49ers remain hesitant amid injuries, recent big deals, and a limited wide receiver room.

San Francisco 49ers wide receiver Jauan Jennings hasn't practiced since July 27 due to a calf injury which came less than two weeks after a report surfaced that Jennings wants a new contract and is open to a trade if he isn't compensated adequately.

It does not appear that a Jauan Jennings contract resolution is imminent. The veteran wide receiver, who requested either a new contract or a trade on July 14 before showing up to the beginning of 49ers training camp and re-aggravating a calf injury, remains sidelined well into camp and without a new deal.
