A federal jury in New York City acquitted Sean “Diddy” Combs of racketeering conspiracy and sex trafficking charges but convicted him of transportation to engage in prostitution.
3rd UPDATE, 7:15 AM: After less than an hour of deliberation today, the jury in Sean “ Diddy ” Combs’ sex-trafficking trial have a verdict. They are returning to the lower Manhattan courtroom, where the Bad Boy Records founder, his lawyers and family, are already assembled.
Following the verdict, a jury member has slammed the public’s response as “highly insulting and belittling to the jury and the deliberation process.”
"Sean Combs is a complicated man, but this is not a complicated case," defense attorney Teny Geragos told the jury during opening arguments. "You are not here to judge him for his sexual preferences."
