Hurricane Flossie has strengthened to a Category 2 storm off Mexico's Pacific coast. The National Hurricane Center reports the storm has maximum sustained winds of 100 mph.

The National Hurricane Center said Flossie had maximum sustained winds at 100 mph and that rain was falling over parts of coastal Mexico.
