Authorities raided five homes in southeastern Michigan on Wednesday as part of a yearlong investigation into pro-Palestinian vandalism targeting the homes of University of Michigan officials and others.

A dozen acts of vandalism across Washtenaw, Wayne and Oakland counties spurred five FBI raids early Wednesday, according to officials. The ongoing investigation is related to 12 vandalism incidents dating as far back as February 2024,

The Gaza War has prompted heated protests at the University of Michigan and arrests and lawsuits have followed.
