Carlos Correa knew it was time to go home. Correa, who spent the first seven seasons of his career with the Astros, is back with his former team after the Twins conducted a massive selloff Thursday at the trade deadline, as the team is reportedly facing significant financial issues.

Carlos Correa is returning to Houston. The Astros reacquired the three-time All-Star shortstop from the Minnesota Twins just before Thursday’s trade deadline.

"I never thought this would happen or there was a chance for this to happen," Correa said before hitting cleanup Friday at Fenway Park.
