It turns out a man who allegedly stabbed two people in separate incidents on a New York City subway reportedly has a lengthy criminal record.

Jamar Banks, 52, of Blake Avenue in East New York, is facing charges of first-degree assault and third-degree criminal possession of a weapon, according to a statement issued by the NYPD’s Deputy Commissioner of Public Information on Sunday.

The man accused of setting a woman on fire inside a New York City subway told detectives, ''Oh, damn, that's me,'' when he saw video of the attack but said he couldn't remember anything, according to a transcript released Tuesday.
