A boil water advisory remains in effect for residents of the Borough of Prospect Park, parts of Paterson, Haledon, and North Haledon. Over the weekend, a 42-inch water main ruptured on North 1st and Arch Streets.

Another major water main break has affected parts of Paterson. Just two weeks ago, on Aug. 8, Yani Batista was without running water at her home in Hillcrest after a century-old main break rocked Great Falls.
