Harris County Attorney Christian Menefee has officially filed to run for the late Congressman Sylvester Turner's seat in Congress.
Harris County Attorney Christian Menefee submitted his bid on Saturday for the now vacant congressional seat of the late U.S. Rep. Sylvester Turner.
The efficiency study was done across city departments with the goal of figuring out where Houston could fix problems.
The funeral service capped a week of emotional events to honor Turner, who died at age 70 on March 5 in Washington, D.C.
