A 55-year-old skydiver with hundreds of jumps worth of experience tragically died during a jump in Eloy, Arizona.

A Minnesotan was killed in a skydiving accident in Arizona on Friday. According to the Eloy, AZ, Police Department, first responders were called to Skydive Arizona around 4:06 p.m. on Friday on a report of a parachutist “experiencing complications during descent.” Despite medics trying to save her life, the woman was pronounced dead at the scene.

An investigation is underway following the skydiving death of a Stillwater resident in Arizona last week. It happened Friday afternoon in the city of Eloy, where local police say Ann Wick, 55, experienced "complications" during a descent at Skydive Arizona:

An avid skydiver who had made nearly 300 jumps died in a parachuting accident, Arizona police and news sources reported. Ann Wick, 55, of Minnesota, died in the accident at Sky Dive Arizona at about 4 p.m. Friday, Jan. 24, the Eloy Police Department said in a news release.
