An 18-year-old teen was arrested in Jamui, Bihar for posing as a fake "IPS officer" while also flaunting a uniform and a pistol. The teen reportedly paid Rs 2 lakh to a conman who "promised" to make him an "IPS officer".

While thousands of candidates toil away each year to clear the exams, a boy from Bihar skipped the queue to become an “Indian Police Service (IPS) officer” at the age of 18, without ever appearing for the civil services exams.
