According to David Ornstein, Alphonso Davies is close to agreeing on a contract extension with Bayern Munich. For over twelve months, there has been great uncertainty regarding the future of the Canadian international, whose contract in Bavaria is set to expire this summer.

On Friday, The Athletic 's David Ornstein reported that the crafty left-back and Bayern Munich are close to an agreement over a new contract.
