Delaware Park will try to bring some of the pageantry of the Kentucky Derby to the First State with its inaugural Delaware Derby on June 14.

Pete Owens, vice president of marketing and public relations, teased the project during a taping with WBIR. Official word will come in September.

The Amusement Park is a haunting story that adapts a long-lost film by George A. Romero as a graphic novel by John Carpenter's Storm King Productions.
