Dallas Mavericks guard Kyrie Irving has been named by NBA Commissioner Adam Silver to replace injured Mavericks forward-center Anthony Davis on Team Shaq in the 2025 NBA All-Star Game.

Irving was selected by NBA commissioner Adam Silver to replace his teammate, Anthony Davis, who is out with a strained left adductor. This is Irving's ninth time to be named to an All-Star team. Irving is expected to play for Team Shaq with LeBron James, Stephen Curry and Kevin Durant.
