NBA All-Star Weekend is nearly upon us, and with the big weekend almost here, the league announced changes to the Slam Dunk Contest.

The San Antonio Spurs took Castle with the No. 4 pick in the 2024 NBA draft out of UConn. Castle was the Big East freshman of the year as the Huskies won the national championship. The rookie has started 25 games for the Spurs this season and is averaging 11 points, three rebounds and two assists this season.

McClung will aim for a slam dunk contest three-peat against Stephon Castle, Matas Buzelis and Andre Jackson Jr..

On 'NBA on TNT' Castle joined the show to discuss his selection to participate in the NBA Rising Stars Challenge, an exhibition tournament which will take place on Feb. 14. As of Tuesday, Castle was rated the NBA's top rookie in the 'KIA Rookie Ladder'.
