Canelo Alvarez added another super middleweight title belt to his collection after winning in Saudi Arabia by unanimous decision. Alvarez (63-2-2, 39 KOs) secured the victory over William Scull after 12 rounds, aiming for his first knockout since 2021, but that will have to wait.

In the immediate aftermath of Canelo’s triumph, WBC world lightweight champion Shakur Stevenson gave his honest assessment on social media of the 34-year-old’s performance against the previously unbeaten IBF champion – claiming if Scull was the A side then he would get the decision.
