The team announced Monday an extension for forward Kole Lind. He will return to the organization on a one-year, two-way contract. The value of the contract wasn’t disclosed. Lind, 26, appeared in 71 regular season games last season and tallied 52 points (23 goals, 29 assists) with the Texas Stars, the organization’s AHL affiliate.

The Boston Bruins signed defenseman Mason Lohrei to a two-year contract extension with an annual cap hit of $3.2 million.

Mason Lohrei, whose growing pains on the Bruins’ blue line last season resulted in a league-worst minus-43 rating, on Monday cashed in way on the plus side with a two-year contract extension that will pay the 24-year-old an average of $3.2 million per season
