Aaron Sorkin is plotting a return to Facebook. The screenwriter behind The Social Network has written a sequel script he intends to direct as a feature for Sony, The Hollywood Reporter has confirmed.

The sequel to "The Social Network" will examine Facebook's impact on youth mental health, misinformation, and more.

Deadline reports Syracuse University alumnus Aaron Sorkin has written a sequel to the Oscar-winning 2010 film, “The Social Network.” Sorkin will also direct the new movie, currently titled “The Social Network Part II.”
