Damian Lillard spent two glorious years at the Milwaukee Bucks, but for a few months, his time at the franchise was getting burdensome for him. And his family was feeling the weight. Recently, the Portland Trail Blazers’ latest addition has opened up about his daughter’s adorable reaction to staying in the city.

During his introductory press conference with the Portland Trail Blazers, former Bucks star Damian Lillard said he checked in with Aaron Rodgers on recovering from a torn Achilles.

Lillard was a first-round pick in 2012 for the Trail Blazers and won Rookie of the Year before helping the franchise to eight playoff appearances over the next 11 seasons. He spent two years of teaming up with Giannis Antetokounmpo in Milwaukee before choosing to come home to the West Coast.

Monday marked the return of Portland’s favorite son, as Lillard met with the media to discuss an earlier-than-anticipated homecoming. Last week, the nine-time All-Star announced he was returning to the Rose City two years after requesting a trade that took him 2,000 miles from the only NBA home he’d ever known.

NBA reporter Keith Smith of Spotrac caught up with a Milwaukee Bucks exec at Summer League in Las Vegas and the two talked about Damian Lillard.  The Bucks waived Lillard, who signed a three-year, $42 million contract with the Portland Trail Blazers.
