A car allegedly belonging to Vance Boelter, the man suspected of shooting two Democratic lawmakers and their spouses over the weekend, has reportedly been discovered a day later and more than 50 miles away from where the tragedy took place in Minnesota.
MINNEAPOLIS, June 14 (Reuters) - Minnesota Police and the FBI kept up a massive manhunt on Saturday evening for a gunman posing as a police officer who killed a senior Democratic state assemblywoman and her husband in what Governor Tim Walz called a "politically motivated assassination."
Vance Boelter was captured in a wooded area on Sunday night, and charged in the shootings of two state lawmakers and their spouses. He appeared in federal court after being charged with murder.
