Ross Chastain and Shane van Gisbergen will combine for nine Xfinity Series races in 2025, driving the No. 9 Chevy for JR Motorsports.

Ross Chastain will drive five Xfinity races and Shane van Gisbergen will drive four Xfinity races in the No. 9 car in 2025.

Ross Chastain has been with Trackhouse Racing since his full-time Cup Series debut and has shown impressive performances. In 2024 alone, he clinched five Cup Series victories, including a win at Kansas Speedway. His journey in the Xfinity Series saw him achieve two wins, 24 top-five, and 53 top-ten finishes across 208 starts.

Ross Chastain and Shane Van Gisbergen will tag-team the No. 9 NASCAR Chevy fielded by Dale Earnhardt Jr.'s Xfinity team, JR Motorsports, in 2025.

The duo will share the No. 9 car for a combined nine races, starting with Chastain at Circuit of the Americas.

JR Motorsports has recently shared its lineup of crew chiefs for the 2025 NASCAR Xfinity Series. JR Motorsports has a remarkable legacy in the racing world. It was established by Dale Earnhardt Jr., Kelley Earnhardt Miller, and Rick Hendrick in 2002, and has since been an iconic presence in the NASCAR Xfinity Series.

Chastain will pilot JRM's No. 9 Chevrolet entry for five Xfinity events in 2025, beginning at Circuit of the Americas in March, while teammate van Gisbergen will campaign in four road-course events, beginning at Mexico City in June.
