League in Las Vegas has become more than just basketball. Alongside the games, the Summer League Film Festival showcased 34 film projects by current and former NBA stars.

Charles Bassey was a surprise Celtics signing for Summer League as he impressed in his three games in Las Vegas.

Now that summer league is concluding and the NBA officially begins its dark period, the stars from Las Vegas must be acknowledged because some unexpected players made big splashes.

Flagg scored 31 points in his second start and looked more comfortable as the Mavericks' primary ball-handler. Dallas shut him down for the rest of the summer slate after his scoring outburst was the most by a No. 1 pick in summer league play since John Wall in 2010.

The Pistons (4-1) were led by John Ukomadu, providing 12 points and three rebounds off the bench. Second-round pick Chaz Lanier led the starters with 11 points, while Tolu Smith totaled 10 points and four boards. Trevor Keels also collected 10 points and four rebounds.
