A day after being crowned the NBA’s MVP, Shai Gilgeous-Alexander led the Oklahoma City Thunder to a 118-103 win over the Minnesota Timberwolves to open up a 2-0 series lead in the Western Conference Finals.

Anthony Edwards got hit with a fine for using profanity after the Timberwolves lost Game 1 against the Thunder.

After the first game of the Western Conference semifinals against Golden State, Timberwolves coach Chris Finch complained about all the fouling, shoving, holding and pushing officials allowed the undersized Warriors against center Rudy Gobert.

Green and Steph Curry have talked about wanting to spend their entire careers with the Warriors, who lost to the Minnesota Timberwolves in the second round of the 2025 playoffs in five games. All signs point toward Curry and Green retiring with Golden State.
