The Philadelphia 76ers were able to knock off the Utah Jazz on Sunday night 126-122 to end a 3-game skid. The Sixers were able to keep pace with the Chicago Bulls for the final play-in spot int he East as they remain 3.

"He came out for walk-through with no tape on [his finger]," coach Nick Nurse said. "I said, 'Where’s the tape?' And he said, 'Forget that tape, man.' I said, 'Feeling better?' He said, 'Nope.'"

Maxey, who has missed back-to-back contests since leaving Monday's game early with what was eventually diagnosed as a lower back sprain. While George did not practice at all on Saturday, Maxey participated in an individualized session. It seems that he will also be sidelined against the Jazz, with his status beyond Sunday night still up in the air.

The Sixers are dealing with more injuries as they try to fight through these final 20 games of the season and get into the play-in tournament. As for Tyrese Maxey, Nurse said he is questionable for the next two and he completed an individual workout on Saturday.

The Hawks and 76ers were missing several notable players, including top-scoring point guards Trae Young of Atlanta and Tyrese Maxey of Philadelphia, for Monday night's game. Coach Nick Nurse said the 76ers would have only nine players in uniform.
