Marketa Vondrousova has upset top-ranked Aryna Sabalenka 6-2, 6-4 in their semifinal to set up a showdown with Chinese qualifier Wang Xinyu in the final of the Berlin Open.

The stage is set for what promises to be an entertaining final at the WTA Berlin Open with the second WTA 500 title of this year’s grass-court swing will be on the line when former Wimbledon champion Marketa Vondrousova faces first-time WTA finalist Wang Xinyu.

Marketa Vondrousova hasn’t dropped a set all week and just took down the World No.1. But Wang Xinyu’s the one playing with house money -- and she’s taken out four Top 20 players to earn her shot at a first title.
