People paying privately for weight-loss drug Mounjaro in the UK face a rise in the cost of the treatment after manufacturer Eli Lilly said it was increasing the list price of the drug by as much as 170%.

The agency shared information from reports by users of compounded semaglutide and tirzepatide who have experienced health issues.

Eli Lilly is set to significantly hike the UK price of its weight-loss and diabetes medication Mounjaro, with some dosages expected to see a staggering 170 percent increase starting from September.
