The Wisconsin Supreme Court ruled Tuesday that a Milwaukee judge accused of obstructing immigration officials would be “temporarily prohibited from exercising the powers of a circuit court judge” while the case proceeds through the legal system,

The investigation was launched in August after Wisconsin Watch, an online-based news outlet, reported in June that the state's highest court planned to hear a lawsuit from Planned Parenthood of Wisconsin asking the court to declare a constitutional right to abortion access.

Investigators have concluded that the leak of a Wisconsin Supreme Court abortion order last year was likely deliberate, but they were unable to determine who was responsible.
