The Namibian Correctional Service has launched the one-way Telio telephone system at the Walvis Bay and Swakopmund correctional facilities to enable inmates to communicate with the outside world. A volunteer inmate demonstrated the functionality of the one-way Telio system. All calls will be recorded and monitored by trained staff at the correctional facility.
