Crystal Palace star Eberechi Eze is a transfer target for Tottenham, who are in need of another creative player following a serious knee injury to James Maddison. Eze joined Palace from QPR five years ago for an initial £16m and has improved his goal and assists output in each of the past three seasons.

Eze has emerged as a target and discussions have now taken place with Palace as Spurs attempt to beat Arsenal to sign the 27-year-old. Eze has a £68m release clause which expires on Friday.
