I'm trying to clear all the partitions on an old compaq computer. it has a 2.5gb hd. 2gb are in the primary partition and there is a .5gb extended partition. Initially, there was no logical partition.

Which one is better and why? I know that PQMagic formats the drives much much faster than fdisk but is it better?(I am talking about using it in dos, not in windows..)<BR><BR>I tried the search ...
