Falling rocks struck people on a hiking trail in Banff National Park in the Canadian Rockies, killing two and injuring three others.

Multiple hikers are injured or dead after a rockslide at Bow Falls Trail in Banff National Park. RCMP media relations officer Cpl. Gina Slaney confirmed Alberta Mounties were asked to assist in responding to the rockslide on Thursday afternoon and are on location to support Parks Canada,

Numerous hikers have been caught in a rock slide north of Lake Louise with multiple people injured or killed, according to the RCMP.At around 1:30 p.m., Lake Louise RCMP were notified that "multiple hikers" were caught in a rock slide on a trail in the Bow Lake/Bow Glacier Falls area.
