According to police, between Dec. 29, 2024, and Feb. 20, 2025, thieves have been using sophisticated scanner tools to reprogram blank key fobs in under 90 seconds.

The AG's office said the charged defendants allegedly entered vehicles and used cloned key fobs that were re-programmed to steal the cars.
