Classic Minecraft was released in 2019 as a way to let players play the original game, exactly how it was. This isn't a mod or anything, and it was officially released by Mojang.

In Minecraft Java Edition, players can either jump into a world on their own and explore it, or they can join their friends in a multiplayer world and play together.

In celebration of 10 years of 'Minecraft,' Mojang has made the original version available to play for free. 'Minecraft' Classic is now fully playable directly from web browsers.
