Social-Emotional Learning (SEL). ✨ • Large-group SEL lessons: For the first 1–2 months of school we explicitly teach problem-solving steps, friendship skills, good-choice vs. poor-choice scenarios, and a rich feelings vocabulary. • Model emotions out loud so kids see healthy expression. • Daily feelings check-ins with a simple chart each morning. • Role-play mini conflicts to practice problem-solving words. • Calm-down tools—deep breathing, a peace
